SUMMARY:AAATE Online-Workshops: Emerging technologies and AT
DESCRIPTION:The Association for the Advancements of Assistive Technology in Europe (AAATE)\, the Global Alliance of Assistive Technology Organizations (GAATO)\, and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)\, invite users and professionals\, as well as researchers\, innovators and developers around the world to explore how emerging technologies are shaping the landscape of the assistive technology field. A series of three workshops will be held online via ZOOM. Each workshop will focus on a specific area of assistive technology application\, including communication\, cognition\, and self-care. DESCRIPTION:Das bereits bewehrte Pflege-Management Forum soll in diesem Jahr vom 29. – 30. April 2021 im Austria Trend Hotel Savoyen in Wien stattfinden. Seit mehr als zwölf Jahren schafft das Pflege-Management Forum den Rahmen für den Fach- und Erfahrungsaustausch mit Führungskräften der Akut-\, Langzeit- und mobilen Pflege sowie Entscheidungsträger*innen aus dem Gesundheits- und Sozialwesen. \nTeilnehmern wird eine fundierte Darstellung der neuen Ausbildungsmodelle – mit Erfahrungsberichten und ersten Evaluierungen – geboten\, während der Fokus auf folgende Fragen gelegt wird: Wo steht die Task Force Pflege in Österreich? DESCRIPTION:Ambient Assisted Living unterstützt ältere Menschen und Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen\, um unabhängig(er) und möglichst lange in den eigenen vier Wänden leben zu können. \nTrotz intensiver Bemühungen von Unternehmen und hohen Budgets aus EU-\, Bundes- und Landesfördertöpfen sind Lösungen im Regelbetrieb spärlich gesät. Die ersten Babyboomer sind bereits in den Ruhestand gestartet\, rd. 2\,4 Mio ÖsterreicherInnen werden 2034 über 65 Jahre alt sein. \nWoran liegt es\, dass trotz der attraktiven und immer technikaffineren Zielgruppe am Markt noch sehr wenig AAL-Projekte angekommen sind? Um diese Frage zu beantworten veranstaltet das neue Zukunftsforum Connected Buildings am Donnerstag\, den 29.
