SUMMARY:RoSe: 1st International Workshop on Robotics and Sensory for Rehabilitation and Assisted Therapy
DESCRIPTION:The 1st International Workshop on Robotics and Sensors for Rehabilitation and Assisted Therapy is part of the PETRA Conference 2021 in Corfu from June 29th – July 2nd . \nIn this workshop\, we want to discuss with and bring together experts from interdisciplinary fields such as assistive devices\, robotics\, sensors as well as fabrication technologies and experts from participatory research and healthcare. We want to interactively discuss and foster the development of novel ideas and strategies to fill the gaps of current technology and concepts. \nSubmissions in the field of therapy as well as in user-centered-design and active assisted living are highly encouraged. \nTopics of interest include\, but are not limited to the following: \n– Movement quality monitoring \n– Monitoring and Feedback of therapist’s manual support \n– Patient monitoring \n– Robotics rehabilitation devices and structures \n– Sensor and manufacturing principles \n– Strategies and motivation/rationale for functionalization \n– Robustness and reliability of sensors and devices \n– Practicability/usefulness for home usage \n– Low threshold accessibility \n– Accessible data processing and visualization \n  \nDeadline for submissions is 1st of March 2021. \n  \nFind more information about the workshop and the call for papers here. \n

DESCRIPTION:The transnational Interreg Danube project D-CARE develops and validates smart care models in the Danube region to support innovation and improve competences. The aim of the project is to increase competences\, build capacities and support social innovation in the Danube region. \nAs apart of the project transnational events are held on 28th and 30th June 2021 that will cover important topics from the D-CARE project: innovation learning environments\, quadruple helix mechanism\, living labs and the presentation of good practices from the field. \nInteresting speakers from other EU projects and initiatives will share with you the latest innovations and best practices in e-health and e-care. \nThe events will be held online on 28th June\, 10:00 – 12:00\, and 30th June\, 11:00 – 14:00. \nRegister for the event here.

SUMMARY:Benefit Ausschreibung 2021 – Online Informations- und Vernetzungsveranstaltung
DESCRIPTION:Das Bundesministerium für Klimaschutz\, Umwelt\, Energie\, Mobilität\, Innovation und Technologie (BMK) und die Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft (FFG) starten eine neue Ausschreibung 2021 in der Förderinitiative IKT der Zukunft. Die neue Ausschreibung 2021 steht unter dem Thema „Pflege und Betreuung zuhause“. \nIm Rahmen der Ausschreibung findet ein Informations- und Vernetzungsveranstaltung statt\, in der Wissenswertes zur Ausschreibung präsentiert wird. Gleichzeitig bietet die Veranstaltung eine Plattform zur Vernetzung potenziell an der Einreichung eines Projektes bzw. an der Mitwirkung in einem Projekt interessierter potenzieller Partner. Die Veranstaltung findet am 29. Juni 2021\, 13:00 – 15:00 Uhr\, online statt. \nIm Zentrum des Förderschwerpunkts benefit steht die Bewältigung zentraler gesellschaftlicher Herausforderungen durch Forschung\, Technologie und Innovation insbesondere im Bereich der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien (IKT). Durch den effektiven Einsatz der Potenziale dieses Bereiches soll nicht nur die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit Österreichs gesteigert\, sondern auch soziale Innovation ermöglicht werden. Den demografischen Wandel als Chance zu begreifen und zu nutzen – das ist das Ziel des Programms benefit.
