DESCRIPTION:The AAL Forum is the annual event where the community of healthy ageing gathers to discuss the existing opportunities in health technology and reflect on the future of ageing well in the digital world. More than 700 delegates are gathering from different fields and domains every year. \nOrganizers have now decided to move the AAL Forum 2021 entirely online to ensure everyone’s safety. It will take place officially between 18 and 20 October\, as the main event of the II edition of the European Week of Active and Healthy Ageing (EWAHA)\, from 18 to 22 October. \n  \nSome of the main topics in the Forum will be: \n– How to build a platform for innovation and change \n– Align Healthcare systems with the needs of an ageing population \n– Intergenerational Solidarity \n– make the socio-economic case for impact investment into healthy ageing. \n  \nThe Forum is the ideal meeting place for: \n– Professionals involved in the technology sector with an interest in ageing \n– Social care and care providers \n– Investors looking for new solutions and innovations \n– Individuals and organisations implicated in the AAL funded projects \n– EU\, national and regional decision makers in the field of health\, social issue\, technology and innovations. \n  \nThe goal of the forum is to enhance this community of change makers to design more cost-effective systems for building together the services to serve the ageing society. \n  \nFind out more information here and here.

SUMMARY:European Week of Active & Healthy Ageing (EWAHA2021)
DESCRIPTION:The European Week of Active & Healthy Ageing aims to become THE European networking & exchange platform for providing innovation support and inter-disciplinary cooperation for active & healthy ageing. It brings together collaboration partners from around Europe (from industry and academia to care providers and the older people themselves)\, who have a stake in promoting & supporting healthy ageing to innovate new service models\, such as in health & care\, lifelong learning and employment. \nIts second edition will take place between 18 and 21 October 2021\, online\, consisting of interactive workshops\, discussions\, plenary sessions\, exhibitions and match-making activities. DESCRIPTION:Zum vierten Mal in Folge\, aber in ganz neuem Gewand\, findet heuer am 20. – 21. Oktober der IDC Healthcare Summit 2021 in Wien statt. Das Motto der diesjährigen Veranstaltung ist „Together We Innovate“\, wobei neue Perspektiven und konkrete Wege\, die sich in unserem Gesundheitssystem eröffnen\, diskutiert werden. \nZum ersten Mal findet der Healthcare Summit dieses Jahr 2-tägig statt. DESCRIPTION:Die IÖB (Innovationsfördernde Öffentliche Beschaffung) hat ein neues Onlineformat „30´Innovation“ entwickelt\, bei dem sich innovative Unternehmen in interaktiven Online-Sessions öffentlichen Auftraggebern vorstellen und miteinander diskutieren\, wobei der Fokus auf Themen liegt\, die den Puls der Zeit treffen. \nDer nächste Termin findet am 20. Oktober 2021 um 10:00 Uhr statt und legt den Fokus auf innovative Pflegeunterstützung. \nPro Session stellen sich 2 Unternehmen jeweils 5 Minuten vor und präsentieren ihre Lösung. Am 20.10. sind dies: Cardioangel – Einfach Leben retten und TEXIBLE Wisbi. SUMMARY:Business Treff “Digitaler Humanismus: digital health“
DESCRIPTION:In kurzen Impulsen präsentieren Forschende der TU Wien mit Wiener Unternehmen am 20. Oktober 2021\, 14:00 – 17:00 Uhr\, Arbeiten rund um das Thema „Digitaler Humanismus“ und Digitalisierung in Gesundheit und Pflege. \nDigitale Technologien erlauben es uns\, in wenigen Augenblicken\, fundierte Analysen über Krankheiten und deren Verläufe zu erstellen. Doch gerade bei „digital health“ braucht es Verantwortungsbewusstsein. Das Thema Gesundheit berührt viele sensible Bereiche. \nIn einem anwendungsnahen Unternehmensworkshop wird auf die Möglichkeiten und Anforderungen von digitalem Humanismus in Verbindung mit digital health aufmerksam gemacht. Bei einer Gesellschaft\, die stärker auf die Aspekte der Datensicherheit und Diversität sensibilisiert wird\, steigen die Ansprüche. Um auch zukünftig zielgruppenorientierte Lösungen anzubieten\, ist es nicht zuletzt deswegen wichtig\, sich den Fragen der Technologiefolgen zu stellen. \nZunächst wird in die Thematik Digitaler Humanismus & digital health eingeführt. Anschließend präsentieren ForscherInnen der TU Wien gemeinsam mit Wiener Unternehmen Projekte und praktische Anwendungen in verschiedenen Themenbereichen. Nach den Vorträgen gibt es die Möglichkeit zum Networking. \nDer Workshop findet als hybride Veranstaltung an der TU Wien statt.
