DESCRIPTION:The European Commission has launched a report on the impact of demographic change in Europe. The study serves as a foundation for further work on the upcoming Green Paper on Ageing\, which is expected to be published later this year. \n  \nThe AAL Programme will therefore host a special webinar on September 1\, at 15.00 CET\, on the results of the European Commission’s report on the impact of the demographic change in Europe. SUMMARY:ICCHP - AAL Session “AAL ecosystems for the life-course: Inclusive\, innovative and reflective”
DESCRIPTION:To help elderly people ease or remove burdens from their every day life\, digital systems\, also called Ambient Assisted Living (AAL)\, including robotic systems\, smart homes or tele-care monitoring are being developed. However\, there is a variety of challenges that are being faced while developing those types of systems. \n  \nIn a Special Thematic Session (STS) as part of the ICCHP (International Conference on Computers Helping People with Special Needs) all those major issues related to AAL are being discussed. SUMMARY:BMK Pop-up Hub - virtueller Kick-Off
DESCRIPTION:Als Reaktion des BMK auf die vielen Fragen bezüglich der derzeitigen Covid-19-Krise wird ein temporärer Pop-up Hub gestartet\, um gemeinsam aus der Krise zu lernen und neue Lösungsideen zu erarbeiten. Dazu sollen in den nächsten Monaten\, bis Jänner 2021\, Ideen in den verschiedensten Bereichen gesammelt werden. \nIm Rahmen dieses Projekts sollen darüber hinaus verschiedene Online-Formate stattfinden\, wie etwa ein Erfahrungsaustausch mit ExpertInnen\, Workshops mit Fokusgruppen und Diskussionen über wissenschaftliche Beiträge. \n  \nDie Themen\, denen sich diese Formate widmen sind: \n– Digitale Gesundheit \n– Distancing \n– Ökonomische Puffer \n– Staatliche Intervention \n  \nDen Auftakt von einer Reihe von Veranstaltungen soll das Virtuelle Kick-Off am 24.
