SUMMARY:PETRA Conference 2022
DESCRIPTION:This year´s Pervasive Technologies Related to Assistive Environments (PETRA) conference will take place from June 29 – July 01 in Corfu\, Greece. It is a highly interdisciplinary conference that focuses on computational and engineering approaches to improve the quality of life and enhance human performance in a wide range of settings\, in the workplace\, at home\, in public spaces\, urban environments\, and other. PETRA brings together very different types of technologies to also address important social and healthcare issues for sensitive populations\, such as the elderly\, persons suffering from chronic conditions and other disabilities or traumas. \nApart from interesting keynotes and a session on Late Breaking Results\, the PETRA conference will host a variety of different workshops\, for which researcher are invited to submit proposals. The deadline for paper submission is March 21\, 2022. \nWe especially want to draw your attention to these workshops: \n“JoyWorkingHome: Digital stress management solution for remote-working environments” \n– Enhancement of current approaches and digital stress management solutions towards personal abilities and goals. \n– Individual remote-working environments\, including individual psychological models and/or sensing devices\, which can non-invasively collect biosignals indicating stress and monitor activity and behavioral patterns. \n„ENABLE: Enabling Technologies for People with Disabilities“ \n– Assistive technologies to support autonomy\, independence\, safety\, well-being \n– Alternative communication \n– Wearables \n– Alternative input devices \n– Smart Home Systems \n– Assistive apps / software \n– Robotics and embodied agents \n– Ethics\, data security and privacy aspects \n– Participatory research \n  \nA list of all workshops can be found here. \nFind further information about the conference here.

SUMMARY:First joint ICCHP-AAATE conference in Lecco\, Italy
DESCRIPTION:ICCHP and AAATE are excited to announce that they are joining their forces and hosting the the first ICCHP-AAATE Joint International Conference on Digital Inclusion\, Assistive Technology and Accessibility that will take place from July 11 – 15\, 2022 in Lecco\, Italy. \nThe conference will provide a platform for exchanging ideas\, stimulating conversation\, as well as facilitating networking and is open to everyone interested in new and original ways to put technology at the service of people living with a disability or older people. It fosters the creation of tools\, systems and services that are accessible by design\, and that can level the playing field for a world where everyone can enjoy equal opportunities. It is based on the belief that technology can contribute to breaking barriers and empowering people. \nSpecial Thematic Sessions on Assistive Technologies and Inclusion for Older People or Digital solutions able to support users´ health in remote-working environments invite submissions for the ICCHP-AAATE conference.
