Joint Call 2020: Equality and Wellbeing across Generations

12.03.2020

Due to demographic change inequality is increased and relationships between generations are altered. Therefore, the aim of 2020 Call “Equality and Wellbeing across Generations”, which was developed under the JPI “More Years Better Lives”, is to support policy in reducing inequality in the face of demographic change. To be more specific, the main topics of the Call regarding inequality are:

.

– Income and wealth

– Caring responsibilities

– Social and political participation

.

In addressing these topics proposals should pay particular attention to issues of gender, cultural background and socio-economic background. Proposals should consider the inclusion of one, two or all three of these issues in their research as an absolute requirement.

.

Proposals can be sent until 14. September 2020, 17:00 CEST.

.

Furthermore, the relevance of the COVID-19 pandemic to the topic of this call will be acknowledged. The primary focus of proposals should still be the research topics and cross-cutting issues set above. However, proposals can, where appropriate, recognise the COVID-19 pandemic as an important contextual factor in the research that is proposed.
