EC Green Paper on Ageing: Call for participation in public consultation

The European Commission recently published the new Green Paper on the effects of demographic change on people´s way of lives.

Even though democratic change brings along a number of challenges, it also leads to new opportunities like creating new jobs, improving digital skills or building a new social instructure for an ageing Europe. The Green Paper is discussing those opportunities while focusing on the following key topics:

– Ageing as a life course approach

– Intergenerational approach on ageing

– Lifelong learning to accompany ageing

– Digitalization supporting active & healthy ageing

Until 21. April 2021 members of public and stakeholders have the opportunity to express their views and give feedback on the Green Paper. The purpose of this consultation is to gather views on how to anticipate and respond to the challenges and opportunities around democratic change. Find the online questionnaire here.
